LOVE AND LUST
Doubt cannot come where there is a sense of closeness. Doubt needs a distance to appear. You never doubt something that is dear to you, close to you.

In love even an object gains life. Stones speak to you, trees speak to you, the sun, the moon and the whole creation becomes alive, Divine. In lust even a living being becomes a mere object. You want to use even people like objects. Here are some salient attributes of love and lust. They are so different yet so close! If you find more you may add to the list.

If someone's lust is interrupted they get angry and start hating.

Love is playfulness and in lust there is cunningness and manipulation. Shiva, the embodiment of innocence and love was meditating. His meditation was disturbed by an arrow of flowers from the lord of lust. As soon as Shiva woke up he opened his third eye and the lord of lust, Manmatha (one who churns the mind) was reduced to ashes. Everybody celebrated by throwing colors on each other realising that life is full of colours.

We play many roles in our life. If all the roles get mixed up it becomes dark, like when you mix all the colours. The wise play each role distinctively side by side, like colors displayed side by side form a rainbow.

"God does not wish you to have more faith because the more faith you have, the more work for God. God will have to run behind you; then you start controlling Him. He is the servant of faithful servants and He does not want too many servants telling Him what He should be doing.

Love is the highest strength, yet it makes you absolutely weak. So God/Enlightened One/Nature does not wan...t you to have more faith or love. With too much faith and love, you make God weak.

Meditation is seeing God in oneself.

Love is seeing God in the person next to you.

Knowledge is seeing God everywhere.

Expression of love is service.

Expression of joy is smile.

Expression of peace is meditation.

What should a person do to become the best in his profession?

Sri Sri: To excel in your profession balance your life.
Meditate every day, sleep well, and in the morning do pranayam and meditation and go to work with a fresh mind.
Don’t watch too many movies and not more than one hour of television per day. A movie a week should be enough. This is because when our mind is bombarded with so many impressions, it loses its creative abilities and becomes uncreative.
Spend one hour with people. Spend time with somebody whom you do not know.


You have said to learn from past experiences, I had a relationship failure in the past, how do I learn from that?
Sri Sri: See all the mistakes that you have made. In the name of love sometimes you show so much emotion that it suffocates the other person and they feel like running away. You should be centered. Sometimes people cannot handle too much expression of love if they are not centered themselves.

"The more sattva/purity rises in your life, the more easily your tasks get accomplished. The amount of sattva/ purity in us decides the productivity of our input. If you put in a lot of effort and the result turns out to be less or below your expectations, it means that there is a lack of sattva/ purity in life. When we meditate, then our work happens easily. "Do you know the meaning of the word Krishna!!

"Do you know the meaning of the word Krishna!!
One who attracts everybody and everything towards him is Krishna. Krishna means most attractive. Irresistible attraction that one cannot resist at all, that much attraction!

The whole Bhagvatam is about how Krishna was so attractive and mesmerizing.
When he would go in the chariot and when he would pass by, people would just stand like statues stari...ng at him. Even after his chariot would go away people would just keep their eyes open and keep staring. Someone would comes and ask, ‘what are you staring at?’ The gopi says, ‘no doubt he went but he also took my sight with him. My attention also has gone with him.’

That is the seer, the scenery and the scene; everything becoming one.
There are many stories in the Srimad Bhagvatam.
One gopi was doing their makeup and she did makeup on one eye and then she heard he is coming, and she just left everything and ran out to the street to have a glimpse of him. There are so many stories to indicate that the Divine is extremely attractive. This is so that the little attractions that the mind hankers on to are freed and that is why he is called Mohana. Mohana means one who appeals to the heart, enchanting and endearing.

So the bondage of love with knowledge is different than the bondage that hankers for pleasure. Hankering for pleasure creates a certain type of bondage which results in a lot of pain. But the taste of love hooks you on to the infinity, to the Divinity and intoxicates you. That with the knowledge brings stability in life.
Life without emotion is so dry; emotion is needed. The emotion is either for the temporal or ephemeral or for the permanent; the permanent joy and the permanent bliss." Sri Sri

Everyone prays when they are miserable. When there is nowhere to go and when all the doors are shut, in misery ev...eryone prays. But in happiness if someone prays, why would misery befall on them?

‘Heyam Dukham Anagatam.’ In Yoga Sutra, Maharishi Patanjali says that the purpose of yoga is to stop misery from befalling on you. Yoga is not just the asanas but meditation as well.

So when you are happy and grateful then do seva. And when you are miserable, surrender and let go. But what happens is when you are upset it is so difficult for you to let go and when you are happy you don’t want to do any service. That is why you become miserable.

It is very important for a miserable person to have the courage to surrender. Sometimes people are enjoying their misery and they do not let go of it.
So renounce in misery and serve in happiness. When you are happy, don’t get lost in the happiness and in the pleasure. Come out and do some service and that is prayer.

Narada says: money is the means, not the end of life;
devotee has the faith- whatever is needed, whenever is needed will come to me.

the most disheartening thing for a devotee is to feel that his beloved(divine) is letting 
him down, dont ever do that
donot listen to or encourage any conversation pertaining to sex, money, atheist or enemy
it can topple your devotion.
arrogance and showoff are another hindrance.
aggression destroys the love, submission, service kindles, awakens the love! JGD!

men has tried so many gestures - give flowers, hugs, 
Hanuman loved rama so much but he could not express his love in words
Rama cudnt understand it, so hanuman had to tear his heart to show

love cant be expressed, it tries to find its expression in so many forms
just like a dumb person who cant tell, but he expresses it.

mother loves his child not because of his attributes but for the person
attributes may change tomorrow then you will stop loving them?

love you because you are! every moment it grows! its unconditional 
doesnot depend on what your attributes are,,what you do.

love and boredome: in love you want to repeat the name of your beloved 
and repetition brings boredome.
your pain you only can know som one else cant know.

love a hidden secret:


feelings are subtler than thoughts they are difficult to hide, finer than the feelings is love, almost impossible to hide.
the more you hide the more it comes into expression. there is a beauty to it, the love which is hidden expresses it in so many ways,
you dont have to tell sb that you love them, your walk, talk will all convey that love , your mere presence will ooze that love,
love cannot be expressed fully at the same time you cant hide it.

So narada says: One who attains divine love,throat chokes and hairs stand up, the thrill manifests in all the actions.
they are unable to speak properly, express properly. they blabber...words wont easily flow. blabbering comes because of
the inability to express love.

You meditate and every one will feel secured in ur company, in ur presence, ur love wil bring such a magnetic impact around u,
closed to you, they feel comfortable close to you. the  world finds its mentor.


love knows no boundaries:
what kills love is argument, dont argue, argue means disagreement, love knows no disagreement. love means yes mind.
through arument you cant convince any body to change their feelings, change their heart.
through demand u cant make any one love you, its impossible, even if little love is ther it will also evaporate.
we become so greedy that the other person should love us and we start demanding. then argument starts,
you dont care for me...bla bla

take others love for granted, even if they donnot love you know that they love you so dearly.
with whome you would like to be with- some one who is asking you to proov your love or some one who takes your love for-grated and moves ahead with a smile.

if you want sb to proov their love to you, then it becomes a big burden on their head...same is true for yourself also.
take some things for-granted, love is one of them, take it for granted that the other person loves u so dearly even if they donot.
whatever little love u have in between will not diminish.

by demand and argument love only diminshes.

if u find sb doesnt love u as much as they used to be, dont demand it, be joyfull and enthusiastic, take other person's love for-granted, this makes them so much comfortable. this assumption, the very attitude of yours will increase the other person's love for u.

but if you ask the other person to proov their love, this demand will only diminsh the love.
donot demand form any body to proov their love to you, this wil make them comfortable.

why any one will love u? - because you give them comfort. but if u argue with them will u be giving them comfort?! - NO!

dont expect divine love from every body, only saints, wise people can give u un-conditional love.
from ur side if you give comfort to some one than what you get back is love.

take it for granted that every body loves u makes u at ease with your self, and when you are at ease with yourself
then you will see that every one will start pouring love on you.

actions, words cant proov the love, actions and word are dependable, they both depend on the area of logic,
love doesnot depend on the logic.

listen to the knowledge that talks about love, all the activity that kindles love in you, just do it!r
if a simple gesture of yours can bring joy and comfort to others just do it, simple acts of kindness will keep
the love alive.

dont say that my love doesnot depend on logic and i dont need to express it - NO!
you need to express it because not every body will understand it. you dont demand from others but there are certain things you can do to make others comfortable, definitly do that.
and read about love, devotion, study the life of the saints, study how your master/guru would have handled this
situation, putting yourself in that place as part of the divine can bring a new avenue in life.

listening to these sutras once is not enough, u have to listen to it again and again.
similarly acts of kindness u have to do it again and again.

if by nature you are a kind person your company will be loved by every body in the whole world.
Story of guruji stole tea bags - Feelings is what matters not actions or words, so you take it for granted that there is love in everybody.

dont get bothered by small silly things in love, that is the way to blossom divine love.

COMMUNICATION

You like to explain, to describe, to host, to speak in public, and to write. This si your communication theme at work. Ideas are a dry beginning. Events are static. You feel a need to bring them to life, to energize them, to make them exciting and vivid. And so you turn events into stories and practise telling them. You take the dry idea and enliven it with images and examples and metaphors. You believe that most people have a short attenstion span. they are bombarded by imformation, but very little of it survives. You want your information- whether an idea, an event, a product's features and benfit, a discovery, a lesson - to survive. You wnat to divert their attention toward you and then capture it, lock it in. This is waht drives your hunt for perfect phrase. this si what drives you towards dynamic words and powerful word combinations. this is why people like to listen to you. Your word pictures pique their interest, sharpen their world and inspire them to act.

Gratitude and Beauty ~ SRI SRI

You cannot be grateful and feel the lack. The two cannot exist at the same time. When you feel grateful, you feel full. When you feel lack, grumbling begins from some corner. If you feel grateful, gratitude will increase in you and you will be given more. If you keep on grumbling, the negativity in you will increase. Jesus said, "For those who have not, what little they have will be taken from them. And to those who have, more will be given. And more. And more." This is the law of the nature. For those who do not have this knowledge, there is no way to get out of their grumbling. It becomes a habit.

This applies to relationships too. If you love someone, know that nothing is lacking. Trust that they also love you very much. If you doubt someone's love, your doubt grows no matter what you receive from them. If you want to be close to someone, first begin to feel that person is already close to you. When you ask people, "Do you trust me?" you are doubting their trust. When you are in doubt about a trust, you grow in doubt -- and there is no limit to it.

Whatever is, that grows. If you sow a seed, that seed will grow. If the seed itself is lack, then lack is what grows. Today you feel a lack, and tomorrow you will feel some other lack, and then in a year, even if all these things are provided, still you will feel some lack. Observe carefully and see what you have been given. Then you become grateful. In gratefulness, everything that supports life grows. When people grumble all through life, their minds don't focus properly. Naturally, they tend to lose out. Even on the material plane, when consciousness is flooded with lack, lack grows. But if you feel you have plenty, plentifulness grows.

This understanding of consciousness is important. Consciousness is the power, energy, beauty and wealth that permeates all creation. This entire creation is full of life -- it abounds in the trees, birds, animals, rivers and stones. Without it, not a blade of grass can move. Without it, there can be no progress. Without it, there is no beauty.

One of the most precious faculties the human body possesses is recognition of beauty. The basis of creation is beauty. In the Vedic tradition, the entire creation is seen as nothing but waves of beauty. Truth is a quest of the intellect, but beauty is felt with the heart. Intellect analyses, is curious to know what is inside the flower, how it grows, what season it comes up in but the heart doesn't care about this detailed knowledge.

Beauty comes in many forms. Spring has its own beauty. In midsummer everything is green and full. And in autumn, the color of the falling leaves is spectacular. "Wow! This is so wonderful!" -- an appreciation of beauty wells up in the heart and takes over the whole being.

The very process of maintaining beauty is beautiful. Water rises as vapor and forms clouds on the Great Lakes -- and the Great Lakes flow into Niagara Falls. Without that process, the water would flow down once and the Falls would disappear. It would be like the fireworks on the Fourth of July -- they last for some time and then are over. But in creation, a rainbow comes and then it comes again and again and again. Underneath what has been created with so much beauty, there is a maintenance principle that sustains this phenomenon.

It is all pervasive, this beauty. Life cannot be a celebration, cannot be joyful, cannot be fulfilling, if there are no waves of beauty. This Thanksgiving, as you celebrate and rejoice with your loved ones, observe the richness in your life. Observe the wealth that nature has given you. Let the gratitude in you rise and let the waves of beauty wash you.

I love you SD

It been more than a year when I first came to San diego. The city looked dull when I compare it with the other part of CA where I was staying before- bay area. Life was not that happening here (appeared to me that time). May be because I did not had many friends, or to say a few close friends which keeps you up and moving.
But see every thing changes with time or we can put it like this - time changes everything. Now I love this place more than any other place in the world. There are lot of sweet memories impressions attached to this place, every nook and corner of this place knows me, and hold things I might never be able to forget in lifetimes. I am in love with you SD and SD knows it:)
Does any one know what is life? I know, you can say - its sweet n sour, its cool, its thrilling, its dull, its exciting, at times boring, its so amazing m loving it! and lot more bla bla.. Life is much more than that, you didnot explain even 1% of what life is, thats what it is!

the dark night of the soul!

Read it at your own risk!

There is no confidence. It reflects in the way I am walking, talking. Its all visible in my eyes, my face is puffed up with stress, i have forgotten smiling. I look my worst, the ugliest, the weakest that can faint anytime. I am unable to understand when people talk to me.

There is no coordination of senses, the nervous system is not as responsive. Often, while driving I fail to notice the Red signal lights. It is like a torture, mental torture!!
It's 1 million times worse than physical torture. I sleep at night but mind never sleeps, it is alert and awake. It hurts all the time and after a while you stop noticing the pain as you get used to it.

How can you expect me to work, forget work. How can you expect me to live like this? This is a vitual end of life. The world looks lifeless. I feel so isolated, insulated from happiness. HAppiness just hovers on the surface the insulation doesnot let it seep in to the heart.

There can be a cure to physical pain but what do I do for the heart ache, How do I explain it when heart starts to bleed, it bleeds endlessly, contracts and aches. There is no cure for this pain. They say time will heal. But time doesnot pass, days refuse to pass, nights eat me away creating more wounds. Whats the cure? Distances are not helping...distnces are actually increasing the longing, and longing is making the LOVE deeper...things are becoming worse...every thing is upside down.

I never felt like this before. I have become a slave to someone. My life is in some one else's control. I am not responsible for all this. It is all written. They say the ways of karma are unfathomable, very strange they are! Friends become enemies and enemies become friends!! Controlling all these from happening is beyond our actions.

These words will not mean anything to you. You will not even get a slightest idea of the pain I am talking about. But for sure these are the fruits of past karma, must be from previous life times. I donot remember hurting anyone in this life time. But dont worry, even in pain there are blessings.
This is more than mother's love for her baby. A mother never hurt her child irrespective of how much the child hurts the mother. Then how can i hurt you? I love you and care for you more than a mother does. Dont forget this. You can do what ever you want to do. You cannot change this. You can not stop me from praying, giving blessings. This one month was like several lifetimes and is enough for me to realise your worth and how much you mean to me and how life would be without you?

 I wish you get well soon and start living again. I wish you open up your arms, open up your heart to life, give a chance to life again, embrace the love that comes your way and not disgrace it. Start living again! Please!

Being simple and unique is being extra-ordinary. It is simple yet complicated - being simple. There is satisfaction, sense of acheivement & above all a piece of mind. There are desires but no cravings. Once you know the dreams they are no more dreams and then the dreams lose their charm.

Love is in many forms. The vibrant heart touching smile of the baby is LOVE. It is inside every one of us but with time it gets covered under layers. In relentless pursuit of worldly happiness we lose oursefl moving away from out true pure self. and gradualy forget out pure self, move away from innocence.
