Take the intention and then drop it.

Q: How to take a sankalpa and how to make one’s sankalpa strong and effective?

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar: Being hollow and empty!

When sankalpa arises in your heart then take the sankalpa and expand your consciousness with the

context of
time and space in the vast universe. In this huge universe, in this huge time, I want this little sankalpa

to happen

and I am confident it will happen by God’s grace. This is what has to be done.

Take a desire and feel it will be heard.

Guruji, many people have sent their problems and botherations here on the stage.

Sri Sri: Yes, leave all your botherations and problems here.
I have heard that nowadays there is an increase in the number of suicides and that too from affluent and educated families. I would say, if you have any such botheration or pain in the mind, know that you are not alone. I am with you! Give all your problems to me. I am with you!
Do sadhana, seva and meditation. Come forward and do something for this country.

So go back with a smile and before going to bed, meditate for ten minutes and surrender whatever you desire and sleep happily. This is the way to take a sankalpa or an intention. Take the intention and then drop it.

Dear Guruji, intention, attention and manifestation, what is the intricate science behind this? How are they connected?

Sri Sri: They are all connected. An intention arises and when you put little more attention on that, it does manifest.
Otherwise many intentions come and you don’t act on it, right?! But when an intention is given a little bit attention, which means you work on those intentions then manifestation does happen.

Relationship means adjustment, it is giving. But at the same time leave some room for the other partner to give. This needs a little skill - to make the other also contribute without demanding. If you demand, the relationship is not going to last long. Demand and blame destroy love.
